Access to support and treatments at the House of Hope

The House of Hope exists to support people impacted by breast cancer in Scotland. Many of our services, classes and workshops are delivered by our trained staff and volunteers, and we are committed to keeping these free of charge for our community.

Alongside this support, we also offer a range of specialist 1:1 treatments, such as massage and spinal therapy. These treatments are delivered by qualified practitioners whom we pay for their time and expertise. To continue providing this level of care sustainably, we will be introducing a charge of £15 per treatment from January 2026, following the first treatment.

For anyone who requires financial assistance, support may be available through our Hope Fund, a dedicated fund designed to remove financial barriers to wellbeing support.

Applications to the Hope Fund will be confidential. Our management team will oversee eligibility criteria and may include, for example, individuals with a DS100 or those experiencing financial hardship while undergoing treatment. Details on how to apply will be available via a short contact form on our website.

We are committed to protecting dignity, choice and access for every member of our community, and we will continue to review and evolve our offering to ensure it remains inclusive and sustainable.

All other services, classes and workshops at the House of Hope will remain free of charge.
